The main goal of displaying both scales simultaneously is to help you naturally learn how they correspond over time. Instead of constantly converting numbers in your head or toggling settings, seeing them together makes both units feel intuitive and second nature the more you use the app.

⚙️ How do I change which temperature unit appears first?

You can easily choose whether Celsius or Fahrenheit comes first by opening the Settings modal inside the app. Your preferred layout will save instantly.

🎨 How does the background sky theme work?

The interface features an adaptive sky canvas that automatically updates based on the local time and current weather conditions of your selected location. It shifts dynamically across five custom states, including bright daylight, golden hour at sunrise/sunset, starry nights, and overcast settings.

📍 How many cities can I save?

You can manage and track your current location automatically, plus add up to 4 favorite cities to switch between with a single tap.

🔒 What happens if I do not grant location permissions?

If precise location access is denied, the app will safely fall back to an approximate location based on your IP address so you can still receive a reliable local forecast. A banner will remain available at the top if you ever wish to upgrade to precise GPS tracking.

🛡️ How is my data handled?

The app is private by design. There are no accounts to create and no remote logins required. Your saved cities, unit configuration, and layout preferences are stored entirely on your local device. Your location data is only used at runtime to fetch the latest weather info and is never tracked or shared.

🔄 Can I sync my saved cities across multiple devices?

To maintain complete user privacy, there is no cross-device sync server. However, your data is included in your standard system backups (iCloud Backup on iOS / Android Auto Backup), so your cities and settings will automatically restore if you reinstall the app or set up a new phone.

💳 How do I restore my "Remove Ads" purchase?

If you switch devices or reinstall the app, simply open the app Settings and tap "Restore Purchases". As long as you are logged into the same App Store or Google Play account used for the original purchase, your ad-free entitlement will restore instantly.
